Zosia Mamet is a writer, director, and actress. Zosia's first play, "Slut," was produced in 2005 at the Atlantic Theater Company. Her second play, "The Jimmy Simmons Story," was produced at the Public Theater in 2009. After graduating from Brown University in 2007 with a degree in English Literature, Mamet went on to write for "Girls" on HBO
Zosia has acted in numerous films including "The Village," "Gone Baby Gone," and "The Kids Are All Right." She also starred in several short films, most recently "Red Hook's Finest." Zosia's screenplay "Julieta" won the Golden Bear award at the Berlin Film Festival in 2011. She has directed the film version of her play "Circe." Zosia is also an acclaimed actress who appeared in the film adaptation of her play, "Things We Want" (which she also directed).
